Professor, Department of Agricultural Economics
Chris Hurt is a professor of Agricultural Economics at Purdue University where he is actively involved in teaching and extension education. He teaches commodity marketing to undergraduate students. He speaks to agricultural groups throughout the country on commodity marketing, price outlook, government farm programs and the economics of biofuels. He is frequently featured in the national agricultural media where requests for interviews exceed 200 per year. He has published many articles on agricultural topics and his work has received numerous state and national awards.
