Key Account Manager
Emily Hoeing is an experienced account manager for the Center for Food and Agricultural Business. Skilled in connecting company leaders and experienced program instructors, she builds and develops transformational learning experiences that moves businesses forward. In her role, she discovers and identifies the values, goals, and needs, designs program frameworks and learning objectives, develops content in collaboration with client business leaders and Purdue Agribusiness faculty, and delivers management education programs that combine research with real-world application specifically for the food and agribusiness industries.
Emily’s roots are in agriculture as she grew up on a dairy farm and has previous experience working in the agriculture industry. Before joining the center, Emily spent nearly 4 years in sales and marketing with Diamond V, a global animal health and nutrition company. As a territory manager, she worked closely with dairy farmers and their consultants to meet their production and management goals.
Emily holds a bachelor’s degree in animal science – with an economics and communications emphasis from the University of Minnesota. Emily and her family (husband, Keith and twin boys, Max and Hudson) reside near Pine Village, IN. They enjoy traveling and being outdoors - kayaking, snowboarding, and hiking.
