Content Marketing and Social Media Manager
Jennifer Stewart-Burton is the content marketing and social media manager for the Center for Food and Agricultural Business at Purdue University. In this role, she is responsible for creating and coordinating content for online and print marketing campaigns; writing and editing magazine articles, news releases, and blogs; and strategically directing and managing the center’s social media presence.
Jennifer graduated from Purdue in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural communication and minors in sociology and communication. Before coming to the center, she spent nearly nine years in Purdue’s Department of Agricultural Communication in a variety of roles, including news writer, managing editor of a multi-state production agriculture periodical, and strategic communication specialist for agricultural research in the plant sciences.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys hanging out with her husband Jake, daughter Elizabeth and dog Lenny; traveling; and spending time on her family’s five-generation corn and soybean operation. A graduate of Indiana AgrIInstitute's Agricultural Leadership Program, she now serves on the program's curriculum committee providing strategic direction for current and future class plans of study. She also serves on missions and outreach teams at Calvary Church, where she focuses on community outreach, international clean water missions and combating human trafficking.
