Thomas Kull joined the W. P. Carey School of Business as an assistant professor of supply chain management in 2007.
Kull's research interests include behavioral issues in operations and supply management, and supply chain risk issues. His passion for supply chain management can be seen in his most recent research, Attitudes Toward Supplier Integration: Differing Motivations of Chinese and U.S. Manufacturing Managers. His work has been published in premier academic journals, including the Journal of Operations Management, Journal of Business Logistics and Decision Sciences.
Before joining W. P. Carey, Kull was a research and teaching assistant in supply chain management for Michigan State University. He received his bachelor's degree in advertising and his PhD in operations and sourcing management from Michigan State University.
He currently serves on the editorial boards of five premier journals and is a member of the Decisions Sciences Institute, Academy of Management and the Production Operations Management Society. He has been commended for his contributions to academia, most recently being an inaugural winner of the GLOBE Robert J. House Best Research Paper Award.
