Climate Change and Agribusiness Asset Investment

What does climate change mean for the US food/fiber supply chain? Some research suggests crop production may move north as much as 200 miles in some cases, and that investments and modifications will need to be made to agricultural commodity transport systems. Advances in the interactions of water and light and the implications for future food and health products

Water and light are increasingly important
production inputs, used from the Life Support System module of the mission to Mars, to standardize organically grown medicinal plants. Their innovative, standardized
management yields crop with new desireable traits, that are stable, grown organically and can guarantee quality levels to medicinal use standards.
Medicinal marijuana is the first industrial application of these techniques. The potential for similar applications with different crops are much more broad and relevant globally.
