2017 Purdue Food and Agribusiness Executive Summit
September 26-28, 2017
Reversing the chain: From supply to demand
Purdue University and Wells Fargo Food and Agribusiness are committed to bringing the right issues and the right senior leaders to the table for critical industry discussions at the 2017 Purdue Food and Agribusiness Executive Summit.
The food and agribusiness industry is awakening to the idea that it is time for a major paradigm shift. We've built the world's most efficient commodity system, but it lacks customer centricity. Summit discussions will focus on the actions necessary to become a supply chain focused on consumer demand.
Newly developed case studies accompanied by dialogue about timely issues are the summit's foundation. As a participant, you will examine concepts and best practices in small groups, through industry panels and in discussions with faculty and industry facilitators. You will explore challenges facing the value chain and consider strategic responses at industry and firm levels.
The Purdue Food and Agribusiness Executive Summit encourages strategic thinking by bringing key leaders together to network and exchange ideas about domestic and global issues impacting our industry. A steering committe consisting of industry professionals and a key group of faculty ensure that the program's content is both timely and relevant.
At this summit, participants will explore the challenges facing our value chain and consider the strategic response needed at the industry and firm level. New case studies and conversations about critical and timely issues are the program's foundation.
