Dr. Brenna Ellison is a Professor and the Undergraduate Programs Coordinator in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Purdue University. Her research focuses on how consumers make food choices, including what consumers choose not to eat, or waste. She teaches undergraduate capstone courses in marketing and business strategy. Dr. Ellison earned her B.S. in Agribusiness from Abilene Christian University and her M.S. and Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Oklahoma State University. Before joining Purdue in 2021, Dr. Ellison spent nine years as a faculty member in the Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics at the University of Illinois. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling around to visit different zoos with her family.
