PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT SURVEY
PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT IN AGRIBUSINESS SURVEY
A review of the Performance Management in Agribusiness Survey and talent management topics from the 2015 National Conference for Agribusiness.
Human talent is one of the most important investments food and agribusiness firms make. As the industry continues to grow, the number of college graduates with expertise in food, agriculture, natural resources, or the environment will not meet the demands of the industry’s talent requirements. That means talent acquisition, employee development, retention and succession planning are imperative to business success. The Purdue University Center for Food and Agricultural Business is focused on understanding talent management and the impact it has on agriculture. The center has developed a talent management model to help food and agricultural businesses build effective talent strategies.KEY FACTORS:
